WRITTEN BOOK REPORT: FABLES

	What does the story tell you?
First Story Title: The Ugly Duckling	It is a story about The Ugly Duckling who feels different from his mother and siblings. He is tired of the bullying he got from other animals and his siblings because his difference, and even his mother wonder why the Ugly Duckling was so ugly. He is run away from his nest. Walk from one river to another. Until he meet some swans at the pond. He makes friend with the swan, and when he sees himself in the water, he just realized that he is a swan, a beautiful swan.
Second Story Title: Golden Egg	This story tells about a poor family who has only a hen. The hen only produces an egg a day, so the owner can feed his poor family with that egg. One day, the hen produce three golden eggs. The owner sells it, so he can feed his family properly. Then, the owner has an idea to get more golden eggs. He opens his hen stomach, but he finds nothing, only blood. After that, his family become poor and poorer.
Third Story Title: The Fox and The Goat	This story tells about the fox who fall to the well, and he can get out of the well until the next morning. Next morning, the goat passed by and hear the fox’s voice. The goat asks the fox, ‘what are you doing?’ the fox lies to him, tells that he is drinking delicious water. The goat fell for his trick and jump to the well. Then, they get trapped in the well. The fox who is sly, fools the goat. He tells to the goat if he can get out of the well by stepping on the goat’s back, he will help the goat. The fox can get out of the well, but he never helps the goat. In the end, the goat is left in the well.
Forth Story Title: Turtle and The Ducks	This story is about the turtle who is curious and envy at the ducks. The ducks can fly and see the world from the sky. Then, the ducks approach the turtle who looks so sad. The turtle tells to the duck his concern. The ducks offer the turtle to fly with them using stick. The turtle should bite the stick and do not ever take of it. However, the turtle is amazed by the beautiful picture he got from the sky. He opens his mouth, then he falls to the ground, and dies. What a poor turtle.

If you can change one of the characters in the previous stories, what animal character will you choose? I will change the ducks in the story of Turtle and The Ducks into an eagle.

What is the characteristic of the new animal you decide? Tricky, sly.

Change the beginning or ending of the story after you change the character, you may also add the other characters to the story! The turtle never opens his mouth, and only amaze it in his heart. Then, the eagle take him to his nest, so the eagle’s baby can get feed.
