Written Book Report: Concept of Extensive Reading

What I understand about ER
Based on the video I watched, the definition of Extensive Reading is fluency on reading an interesting book without opening dictionary, and once you read you will forget of time because your mind is drown on the story you read. In addition, it is a way of an enjoyable and comfortable reading. Thus, extensive reading will give you real time reading experience like reading in the first language.
What I want to do in this course
I want to read so many English books, and be a diligent reader.
What I want to improve
I want to improve my fluency and consistency on reading.
What I feel
I feel I need to force myself to read and read since the first week of this course, and it, sometimes, make my shoulders weighing. However, I need to overcome it for my own good.
What I am curious to know
Actually, these questions followed make me curious: a) will this course lead me to positive changes? b) Will this course attract me and never get me bored?
